Maybe it’s just me but I think the normalization of asking people their pronouns has done more harm than good bc yall are only asking people who are visibly trans and it’s giving “I clocked you- are you girl or boy”

found drake of the 99 dragons today. picked it up because ive heard of it before as being one of the worst original xbox games. my friend and i are about halfway through it right now. and yeah its so awful it becomes fun. start screen because it crashes almost every time we save.

i think A LOT about a vivid memory i have from when i was a little kid. i had a kind of big rc car. i drove it under the bed but i was unable to drive it back out. i decided to crawl under to get it but it wasnt there. under the bed wasnt even messy. i never found it ever again.

i can still picture exactly what it looked like. this resulted in me thinking there was like a portal or something under my bed. i developed terrible sleeping habits that persist even today because i was constantly afraid something would come out and get me.

a lot of people are disagreeing with me here but i think its nice that i can start a conversation about something i enjoy. i feel like thats at least part of what the internet is for. you can disagree on this. but we're talking about some consoles i love so i'm fine with it.

people love to romanticize that era like we didnt all just play the same 10 games for years. and occasionally get to experience new ones at friends houses. now you can get like 5 solid games on these consoles for the price of 1 new game. or just mod it altogether. its better now.

any time i hear a queer person say something like "im 40. ive wasted so much time. what would even be the point now?" i get so sad. i fully came out at 25. i couldnt imagine going my whole life never truly being me. the entire rest of your life is the point. theres a lot left.

not going to lie. even at 25 i had thoughts of "what would even be the point now?". like many others, there were reasons i kept it to myself that long. i even had periods where i doubted if could confidently say i was queer. there is always time. i wont live wondering "what if"
