Today, I visited Terrapure Environmental, which operates the only two lead battery recycling facilities in eastern Canada, including one right here in Mississauga. The company recovers valuable materials such as metals, acids, and plastics, from spent batteries, helping power a closed-loop, circular economy. This is an impressive example of sustainable innovation in action.
