Today, we entered Report Stage for Private Members' Bill C-222, also known as Evan's Law. I am honoured to share that this bill has secured the Royal Recommendation, which marks only the fourth time in Canadian history that a Private Member's Bill has received this designation.

Great connecting with secondary students last Saturday. Along with MP Wade Chang, @MayorofBurnaby and @routledge_janet , I answered the students’ questions about leadership and community decision-making, using our constituency office’s priorities and focus as a use case.

Constituency weeks are one of the best parts of the parliamentary schedule. It’s a chance to get out into the community and connect directly with constituents. One of the highlights was visiting a Grade 5 class in North Burnaby talking about Parliament and the federal government.
