🚨TX Mustangs - Summer 2026 HS Tryouts! 🚨 The partnership between Josh Sanders and Trent Reynolds to form the Texas Mustangs has produced an organization that stands out, with the same focus on individual player development, a sharper focus on learning to compete, and the same character development we have always strived for. With adding Ryan Rogers, Lake Travis High School’s Head Baseball Coach as our Director of Youth and Player Development, we continue to improve the value we offer to all families. We have excellent practice locations occurring in the Lakeway area between Lake Travis High School Baseball Field, our Mustang Clubhouse, and the TRPD Facility. We continue to provide excellent guidance on the journey from high school to college, ultimately helping all players reach the goals they have and enjoy the journey along the way. Our combined alumni includes hundreds of players who have reached their goals at all collegiate levels up to multiple 1st round draft picks. All new players trying out will be able to get their exit velocity, pitching velocity, home to first, and 60 times. If you can only make one or the other, prioritize the field tryout time. ⚾️ Austin Baseball Community Comes Together for Flood Relief ⚾️ In response to the devastating floods that have impacted so many families across Central Texas, we’re joining forces with Titans Baseball, GPS Legends, Texas Mustangs, Action Baseball Club, 180 Performance, and Lantz Home Services for a collaborative donation drive to support those in need. We’re proud to be part of a baseball community that shows up when it matters most. This is our chance to rally together and make a meaningful impact—because the heart of baseball beats strongest when we stand united. 📦 Donation Collection: We'll be collecting high-need items at our facility from July 11–18. 🚛 Group Drop-Off Event: On Saturday, July 19 at 10:30 AM, all participating organizations will deliver their donations to Lantz Home Services. Players are encouraged to wear their jerseys as they help load and deliver supplies—a powerful show of unity across programs. A group photo will be taken to capture this special moment of community support. 🧃 High-Need Items Include: – Bottled water – Non-perishable food – Hygiene products – Diapers & wipes – Cleaning supplies – New socks & underwear (all sizes) – Trash bags – Towels & blankets Let’s rally as a baseball family and show what it truly means to support our neighbors—both on and off the field. Texas Mustangs Owners Josh Sanders and Trent Reynolds today announced that Ryan Rogers, head coach of the Lake Travis Cavaliers High School Baseball Program, will be joining the organization as Director of Youth and Player Development, responsible for the oversight of the youth program and developmental path for players at all levels youth through high school within the Texas Mustangs Baseball Club. Rogers will be supported in this newly-created position by staff from Texas Mustangs Baseball Club, including owners Sanders and Reynolds. Rogers begins his 19th year of coaching and his 4th as the Head Coach for the Cavaliers winning the 2024 and 2025 District 26-6A Championship where he received Coach of the Year honors both times. The 2025 campaign culminated with a trip to the State Semi Finals. Rogers was previously the Varsity Assistant for the previous five seasons where he helped the Cavaliers win the district championship every year, and reach the State Semi Finals in 2019 for the first time in 6A.   He began his career in his hometown of Wichita Falls, TX as the Varsity Assistant for the Wichita Falls Coyotes. After a six year stint with the Coyotes, he took over as the head coach at Bowie High School in Bowie, TX for four years. Under his leadership, the Jackrabbits made the playoffs three out of four years, winning district in two of those years, culminating in a trip to the Regional Semi-Finals in 2016.  While at Bowie he was the district coach of the year twice and also the Times Record News Red River Diamond Dozen Coach of the Year for 2015 & 2016. Coach Rogers has been married to his wife Stacie for 18 years. She is a Special Education teacher in LTISD as well. They have two kids, Adelyn (14), and Rhett (10).  "We're very happy to welcome Ryan to the Texas Mustangs team as our new Director of Youth and Player Development. Ryan brings a wealth of youth and high school baseball experience and a stellar reputation to this new position," Sanders said. "He is very familiar with the high-quality and best-in-class experiences we provide Texas Mustangs’ players and their families, and I'm confident that with his help we will continue to offer a fast increasing number of first-class baseball playing and developmental opportunities to the youth of Texas."
