The Texas Science & Natural History Museum started with a bang! 🧨
June 11, 1936: On a train-stop visit to Austin, U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt officially broke ground for @UTAustin's future Texas Memorial Museum - today's Texas Science and Natural History Museum - by pressing a button to light a stick of dynamite at the site.
