Whenever I’m coding and Claude tells ME to do something, i always first ask it: Is this somrthing you can do for me with cli? - Adding env to Vercel - Making new projects on GitHub - Supabase migrations - Testing your site, etc Pushing back on it, alwyas smart 🤓

I feel this way about the algorithm.
The most important lesson I've learned in all my years working online is that the market is always right. It doesn't matter how hard you work. It doesn't matter how good your idea is. Drop the ego and get ready to ruthlessly cut, pivot or kill the instant the market doesn't send you the right signals.

It's an unimpressive-sounding word, but one of the most powerful motivations is the motivation of the hobbyist. That's what keeps successful founders working on their companies long past the point when they've made enough to quit. It's their beloved project.

Well if anyone comes across this, I’m using Handy. I highly recommend Wisper Flow on a Mac because of their gamified onboarding process. But then switch to Handy since it’s free and local.

Translating my VHS site into other languages is maybe the best thing I ever did to it - so u can make ANY movie into your language. The SEO benefit (or penalty) is an afterthought. Case in point, “Sicario” in Japanese: vhs.texs.org/ja/slipcover?lo…
Just because you *can* use AI to translate and scale your website into many different languages does not mean you *should.*

I hate spam, but this was a very effective cold email. Landed in my main inbox, good short subject line, great opener — using Harry Dry's good name to sell me... a mascot. I started to reply but I don't want to boost their email delivery.

I became a bit of a Tapehead in 2025... and made a very niche-interest project. vhs.texs.org Also today, it passed $1000/MRR, so I think its pretty cool that people are into it.

On the other hand, I was never able to maintain a diary until the iPhone. And now I have a continuous daily journal going back 20 years.

If you’re starting a podcast, here’s some crucial lessons here to learn from @SubwayTakes. I wrote this up for a friend, but I figured a lot of people here could learn from it. Perfect efficiency:
