Today's learning: - Persist user session - Learned about StreamBuilder. Takes in a stream and a builder values. stream binds to the supabase.auth.onAuthStateChange in charge of listening to any auth events that happen. builder takes in the context and snapshot where we then check if the session is not null, we then return the HomeScreen widget. Otherwise, we return the HomeScreen widget Stay tuned for more 🫵🏻

Hello, X! Today I worked on and finished implementing registration, authentication and logout. @supabase makes things a breeze! Today's learning: - isLoading state for enhancing UX on button press - email field validation. By the way, you can also add rules on Supabase for this - obscureText in Flutter hides text being edited. isPasswordHidden binds to this value in order to implement the show password functionality on icon press - used the ScaffoldMessenger class to show a snack bar (notification) for feedback - created the home screen with text and a logout button We're just getting started. Our next voyage consists of building a Restaurant Delivery app with Flutter and Supabase ⚡️ What I've worked on and learned: ◾️ Created the Sign up and Log in screens ◾️ The Future class used for asynchronous programming. The async function always returns a Future ◾️ Learned about dotenv in Flutter for managing credentials ◾️ Learned about the Supabase client instance, signUp, signInWithPassword and logout methods It's definitely a lot of information but it's honestly been amazing so far.
