Everyone's standing in line. To meet with investors. To get an agent. To sell a screenplay. Most people never get to the front. The people who do got pulled out – by nepotism, chance, a returned favor, timing. Find a way to skip whatever line you're in, or risk dying in it.

Instead of "always learning", it should be "always learning with Anki". Knowledge retention is extremely important for preserving your mental tools.
I think one of the keys to success is carefully studying all possibilities in a system: consider every single angle, especially angles that no one wants to consider. My guess is that most people don't have enough curiosity to enjoy this process.

Only 11/50? Isn't that bad?

Wow, 11 of these 50 were funded by Y Combinator: nytimes.com/2019/02/10/techn…
False sense of urgency is equivalent to panic with no direction. A real sense of urgency has a time-sensitive, concrete objective.

Winning market share makes my heart happy. Everything else is annoying.
These guys make my heart happy.
I mostly disagree. Unless this is an iterated prisoner's dilemma, look away. (e.g. unless False altruism has any benefits). I will agree that most of the time, you can win in the long-term by helping others (e.g. exploiting reciprocity). The trick is to not help losers.

100% disagree. Does this person know about zero sum games? I encourage you to read "Everyone else must fail" (the biography of Larry Ellison).

Would be pretty hilarious to train on Arxiv papers. Someone could be the next Einstein by doing this and no one would ever know.
IDK about this. Computational Creativity has quietly been making many advances. No joke. You can "sample" ideas from the idea distribution and get pretty good results. I've done this before.

Entropy is the ultimate boss battle

Working hard is for morons. Instead spend your time identifying and exploiting highly idiosyncratic opportunities.
#BellLetsTaIk is stupid. Someone gave me a good piece of advice one day: Depression is for losers. Hate to say it but: I'm glad depression is becoming common. It means that I will become more successful.
I think @farnamstreet and others are causing a huge disservice to the world. They are increasing the average intelligence. Soon critical reasoning and clear thinking will be a commodity. I argue that we should keep these things secret.
