Tbh a big reason my music releases have been few and far between is due to the pressure I put on myself for how the "release campaign" has to be. "I gotta have 3 to 5 eye-catching promo videos" "The artwork has to be just right" "Gotta make sure I post at the right time of day"

I feel like it's easy to forget where the value in art comes from, especially in today's society. We're so focused on how we look to other people as opposed to how we truly are. We want to look like we're shiny to others instead of actually shining our light from within

We rely on the perceptions of others for validation instead of correcting our own errors to self validate ourselves. With all that said I would love to hear what anybody has to say on any of this, as I feel like I'm not the only one who feels this way (or maybe I am.. who knows!)
