Replace scrolling rumors & slop time with getting basic grasp of CBA. Add that to a decent enough knowledge of PHX cap situation & roster.
You can then actually connect dots on legit slop & know what (who) is complete BS.

When you commit to having $20mil in dead cap on your books, you simply have to nail the value of every contracted player.
AND you also have to use all available avenues the dead cap seemingly created for you.

The MLE next season is about 15mil.
In terms of value, I don’t think PHX should pay more than that combined for Colin/Jordan.

The Bickley stuff is pretty funny.
Suns fanbase online definitely has a toxic positivity issue but him presenting himself as the right way to cover sports is also hilariously bad.

I know there's no way for me to say this without sounding like an asshole but the discussion just ain't what it used to be.

I don’t necessarily disagree.
But the other side of the coin, is no Suns basketball for 2 months while watching 2 teams with outlier performances (young guys competing VS incredible team w/o Top 5 player) can have you thinking PHX can thread that needle.

It’s crazy what being 2 months off your playoff exit will do for your personal outlook for your team I think the Suns keeping the squad together to see what they’ve got in Sheer and Khaman is a great idea lol

PHX put themselves in a position where they are going to have to take A LOT of risks.
Did so this season, hit on a good amount & ultimately, over-achieved. Based on reactions, not sure the majority of the fanbase have the stomach for what's still coming.

There's $36mil between the cap & tax. $21mil between the tax and 2nd apron.
Pretending $20mil in dead cap isn't concerning because you are willing to spend is simply conveying a positive message for the hell of it.

They just aren't in a position to be picky with where they acquire talent. Skilled PFs with size and shooting are maybe the hardest commodity to find in the NBA.
Not sure PHX will look super balanced in the traditional sense for years to come tbh.
