Exactly. It alleviates responsibility from all professionals working within the education system. This is why so many children with SEND are failed. Because they are perceived as someone else’s responsibility.
Just to give you some perspective on this, I support a young person who is looking at transitioning to SEN services, none of the local schools have a place until 2027...
