When will the #MetGala finally come to terms with how that staircase symbolizes that people with mobility disabilities would never be expected to participate? Don’t even start with an argument about tradition or how that staircase is the only way to show the outfits properly
As a society we are still celebrating exclusionary design in 2024 which has tremendous impacts on the way disabled people are viewed and “valued” and how we internalize that experience within ourselves.

I just finished reading #FearlesslyDifferent by @theMickeyRowe and OH MY GOD!!!!! Everyone NEEDS to read this book. This autistic theater kid needed this book in their life and I’m so glad I read it. GO READ THIS BOOK!!!
