Today, @DHSCgovuk has renewed the Women’s Health Strategy for England, highlighting the steps needed to address the barriers to timely and effective care facing women across the country. Responding to the strategy, @TheBHF’s Chief Executive, Dr Charmaine Griffiths said:

We’re delighted to open the 2026 International Cardiovascular Research Partnership Awards (ICRPA) scheme, which funds high-quality international research collaborations that have the potential to improve understanding, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Up to €500,000 / £500,000 per funder is available for projects lasting up to four years. Today on Good Morning Britain, Max George bravely opened up about his heart condition, calling it “a blessing in ways”. He was joined by Kyle, who shared his own story and spoke about his 'in living memory' red bench. Together, they highlighted the power of storytelling in helping people feel understood and less alone. Kyle's red bench is one of 65 across the UK, each one honouring someone living with a heart condition.
