CEP is a youth-focused non-profit that takes a multifaceted approach to aid in increasing youth civic engagement. We utilize creative arts programs focused on a range of activities, such as film and podcasting, to help teens express themselves while healing their communities.

This is what #youthinaction looks like! We are so proud of our youth, like Quimaiyah, who take a seat at the tables of leadership and power. Quimaiyah delivered testimony at a @DCSBOE meeting during the recent SY22-23 to advocate for youth mentorship and support for post-grad.

Veronica in Ward 1 thinks "a lot of the focus should be on rehabilitation for people that have been involved w/ violence...because oftentimes there are a lot of underlying issues like mental health and upbringing that can lead somebody to be involved with violence." #CareNotCages
