Jokes aside, I have seen people complain about this (in general, not on my channel) and I want to clarify:
It's the creator/uploader who decides where the mid-roll ads go. If they don't intentionally assign a spot, yet they still enable mid-roll ads, then YouTube will automatically place them, which can ruin the viewer experience.
If creators are going to enable mid-roll ads, it should be done much more strategically, similar to commercial breaks on television.
