Welcome to the other side where files work for you. Try it today: thedrive.ai Good luck to our friends at @OpenAI GPT-5 release as well!
Meet @thedriveAI, the world's first agentic workspace. Humans spend hours dealing with files: creating, sharing, writing, analyzing, and organizing them. The Drive AI can handle all of these operations in just a few seconds — even while you're off-screen getting your coffee, on a morning jog, or during your evening workout. Just give The Drive AI agents a task, and step away from the screen! While you watch GPT-5 release, get your files to work: thedrive.ai

The document extraction space is crowded. Everyone reads. Few think. We ran a test: invoice with intentional math errors. $100 gap between line items and total. Every competitor returned the exact numbers from the page - correct extraction, wrong data. Our /analyze endpoint caught it instantly. Not by reading better. By reasoning about what the data *should* be. This is where document intelligence goes next: from extraction to verification. From "what does this say" to "does this make sense." @thedriveAI /analyze isn't just an extraction API. It's a document reasoning platform. We're building for teams who need to automate document workflows where accuracy isn't optional. Read the full breakdown on our blog. It's a good reminder that the hard part of document automation isn't reading anymore - it's knowing when to trust what you've read. Want to learn more? My DM is open. Yesterday, we released two powerful endpoints at @thedriveAI : /extract - Send any file or URL with a schema. Get structured data back. /analyze - Same format, but the AI reasons, computes, and derives answers. Today, we're releasing official TypeScript and Python SDKs to make integration dead simple. link: dev.thedrive.ai/

We've been building @thedriveAI and one of the hardest problems we kept hitting was: how do you get structured, reliable data out of any file? Not just OCR. Not just "summarize this PDF." Actual typed fields you can trust enough to put into a database or feed to another system. So we built an internal API for it. And after using it across our own products, we decided to open it up. Here's what makes it different: 1. Extract pulls what's literally in the document. Upload an invoice → get vendor, line items, total. Upload a contract → get parties, effective date, termination clauses. It returns typed JSON with confidence scores and cites the exact text it pulled from. If a field isn't there, it returns null - instead of guessing. 2. Analyze derives what isn't written anywhere. Upload a 200-page earnings report and ask "what's the YoY revenue growth?" That number doesn't exist in the document - it has to be computed. An agent navigates the pages, finds the right tables, runs the math, and returns the answer with the full reasoning trace. No hallucinated arithmetic. Same schema. Same endpoint. You describe what you need in plain English. We built this because we needed it. Now it's available to anyone who does. We will continue to iterate on it, but just want to share a beta version how powerful our internal systems are and now you can get access to it as well with 100 free credits. → dev.thedrive.ai

We just shipped file requests at @thedriveAI You describe what files you need. Your client gets a checklist. They upload. Files arrive organized. No accounts. No chasing. No "hey just following up on those docs." thedrive.ai/file-request

We just shipped Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive imports into @thedriveAI. But the important part is not the import. It is that people no longer need to manually clean and reorganize years of messy files just to use AI properly. The Drive AI can now pull in existing folders, detect duplicates, and automatically organize everything into a structured workspace. Your files already exist. We are building the intelligence layer on top of them. Try it today: thedrive.ai

Hear me out! One thing we’ve realized while building The Drive AI is that people do not actually want “file management.” Nobody wakes up excited to rename PDFs, create folders, or move files around manually. They just want things to end up where they belong automatically.

That thinking led us to build a document scanner directly into the mobile app. You can now scan documents with automatic edge detection/capture, convert them into PDFs, and have them organized instantly inside your workspace by AI.

It sounds like a small feature, but removing tiny bits of friction over and over again is what makes software feel magical. Available on both iOS and Android starting today! iOS: apps.apple.com/us/app/the-dr… Android: play.google.com/store/apps/d…

The worst place your files live is your Downloads folder. Because that’s where email attachments go to be forgotten. We fixed that.

Hot take: generating link previews shouldn’t be a paid API So we made it free preview.thedrive.ai/<any-url> → instant thumbnail No auth, no setup Use it before we regret this decision
