Kadhalikka Neramillai (2025) – Movie Review
Finally, I got around to watching
#KadhalikkaNeramillai on Netflix after having decent expectations, thanks to its promising trailer. However, the film unfortunately falls flat and feels incoherent in its execution.
Director and writer Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi relies heavily on generic templates for both narration and characterization, which results in a lack of depth throughout the film. Even with talented actors like Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen leading the cast, their performances feel underwhelming due to the shallow writing of their characters.
The real highlight of the movie is A.R. Rahman’s fantastic background score, which elevates certain moments and adds emotional weight where the script fails to deliver.
Verdict: Kadhalikka Neramillai is a decent, feel-good entertainer, but it lacks the substance needed to make a lasting impact.
