You might have seen the Gin Wagon hitching a ride out of Sheffield today. It's not broken down - but it is off to a new home down South, so I'm afraid you'll not be seeing the Gin Wagon at any more events around Sheffield. πͺ

We'd like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported us in the past 3.5 years - from coming to events and drinking with us, to having the Gin Wagon along to your own celebrations; from looking after our sons whilst we ran the bar, to helping us out behind the bar.

The Gin Wagon hasn't been anywhere since a private party back in September, so we gave it a little run out today - before we cover it in Christmas lights and wait for restrictionsto lift.... π

This cold weather is making us miss Christmas markets and helping people get warm with a steaming, mulled gin. If you want to make your own whilst we're not able to make it for you, here's our recipe:

1 litre cloudy apply juice
1 x cinnamon sticks
2 x star anise
3 x cloves
Half a vanilla pod
Heat all the ingredients through, pour into a mug and then add sloe gin (depends on your mug how much you add!). Enjoy and feel festive! π
