Tragic.
Rolling Ray and I talked about him being forced to wait for hours in the cold after being discharged from Georgetown Hospital at 1AM. He could not get home due to a lack of wheelchair transportation (e.g., UberWAV and Metro Bus).
He wanted to work together on transportation justice and inaccessibility and suggested taking the issue to the blogs and media. We were both wheelchair users in the DMV who had been through the same thing.
He was a larger-than-life person with a big personality who cared about improving the conditions for people with disabilities. Rest in Paradise power, Ray! 🕊️👨🏾🦼➡️🕯️

We just lost a legend, rolling ray’s mom has confirmed his passing via Facebook 💔
