We *must* end this evil racket of corrupt politicians and NGOs who profit off the misery of these poor souls. They launder money and feed them more drugs, so they can keep their customers locked in this hell on our streets. You know how sometimes something comes across your feed SO good you don't even care if there might be a chip in your brain that's powering your algorithm suggestions?
Here's my latest one: Dutch[.]com for online Veterinary care.
(**Obviously if something is very wrong - take your pet to an in-person clinic**)
But if you just need Rx refills? Standard Flea & Tick meds? A prescription food? Dutch is AMAZING.
My Big Dog has allergies, environmental, and takes a small dose of allergy meds daily. But at his regular (very thorough) vet, this means over $350 in blood work, pee tests, etc 2x per year. PLUS a ton of vaccines he doesn't need since he doesn't do dog parks or boarding.
Personally, I'd rather save these $$$ visits for when something mysterious is going on with him.
But Dutch? With a code, I get UNLIMITED VISITS for up to 5 pets for under $100 FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR.
AND Dutch price matches any medication so you aren't overpaying for the Rx either.
I just had my first vet visit with them over Zoom less than 2 days after signing up, and it was amazing. Less than 10 mins, and I got all the refills I needed for his standard care.
10000/10 Service and such an amazing relief to know this is an option when going in-person isn't practical or necessary.

For starters:
- Turning off the power when the wind reaches a certain threshold to avoid sparking.
- Create a budget plan to bury power lines.
- Making sure reservoirs have water in the first place, same with fire hydrants.
- Mandate everyone in high risk areas install exterior fire sprinklers on new builds
- Make a yearly govt landscaping crew clear brush and vegetation that’s overgrown
- Buy about 15 of those fire-drop planes instead of having just 1 or 2 at a time, get the blue angels to fly in formation if you have to just to put a large area of fire out at a time
But what do I know? I’m just a California native whose house burned down in a wind-fueled arson-set wild fire.
What’s his plan to stop the next fire? Move LA out of the desert?

Just in: Judge apologizes to man who tried to kill the president, says “we’ll get ‘em next time champ”
NEW: Judge apologizes in court to WHCA Dinner shooting suspect Cole Allen.
Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui said that he was “fascinated and disturbed” by Allen's treatment in jail.
Allen was placed on suicide watch when he was first imprisoned. Prosecutors argued that since Allen told investigators he did not expect to survive the alleged attack, he could be a danger to himself.
But an incredulous Faruqui wasn't convinced by that argument, drawing comparisons between Allen and defendants arrested for rioting at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
“To me, it’s extremely disturbing that he was put in five-point restraints, a person with no criminal history. It’s troubling. I never heard of one Jan. 6 defendant who was put in five-point restraints or in a safe cell. If the only way to keep him safe is the most punitive thing, that’s a problem.”
“At a minimum, I should be apologizing to him. We are obligated to make sure he’s taken care of. Mr. Allen, I’m sorry that things have not been the way they are supposed to.”
