sad to say it, but Alan Wake 2 is kind of arse. I’ve loved every game Remedy has made, but its story just isn’t compelling. It feels laborious to play without any real hooks or twists to make up for it. I want studios to make daring, weird games, but they got lost in the woods.

I’m back studying kanji again, and my daughter is just the best teacher. She’s only learned the same kanji recently so it’s great fun as she figures them out with me and then gives examples of usage.

It’s got this bit those goes wrrrrgggg, and the drums are like smash Sssssmash boom and then there’s all these twinklely arp things and Shrrrrup, hat riser baby! The best bit is the solo in Tracer. It’s like raaa-raaaa

Growing up 80s/90s uk gave my generation a really cool view on horror movies. Due to the Video Nasties act, so many great horror movies were banned. The Exocist, Texas chainsaw… we were told they were dangerous/disturbing. The horror movies themselves were the forbidden relic…
