SRCW has Jet laser-focused on being Sonic's sole rival.
In a CrossTalk episode, he flat-out states that he doesn't like Dr. Eggman. Jet rejects alliances with Eggman and Zavok to stop Sonic.
Though he and Shadow double team Sonic in a comic panel, they are hostile in-game.

I am currently playing Mario Party 7.
Hm. I see that Koopa Kid is not playable here after varied roles of playability in the last three games.
That knocks 7 down a few points.

It appears that my dad will be at the medical facilities for at least one more day. The good news is that he is making progress towards recovery.

Waluigi is labeled as technical character with weak batting in Mario Super Sluggers.
Yet, I score home runs with him more often than not. How mysterious. π€

Even with the additions of Luigi, Yoshi, and Wario, my favorite character in 64 DS is Mario.
His balance is helpful, and I appreciate his ability to wall kick.

With two games that are considered above-average by me personally and popular among the Mario fandom...
...that means Mario Baseball has never had a "bad" game. Nice!

In Mario Superstar Baseball, each pair of captains shared the same Power Shots. This is changed a bit for Mario Super Sluggers.
For instance, Bowser Jr. now has a graffiti theme for his pitch and swing, as opposed to using a Bullet Bill with a bandana.

Super Mario 64 DS introduces a lot of new content. One of these are Silver Stars.
In given missions, you must collect five Silver Stars to get a Power Star. Try not to get hit directly...
Incidentally, Mario's face screen in the original Super Mario 64 features a silver star.

About 20 years ago, I saw an early video on YouTube about Super Mario 64 DS. I was curious on what the remake was about.
In the video, it showed Mario getting a Mega Mushroom. This...immediately sold me! I always wanted to become huge in the original Mario 64.

Magikoopas are team players in the Mario Baseball games.
They bat using their scepters; when I was younger, I thought it was odd that Magikoopa's batting power was weak.
I suppose giving him a busted bat wouldn't be very balanced. That's fair. π€

I could get upset at Nintendo for an underwhelming Direct. I could tell folks to be grateful and move on from the disappointment.

...This game is still fun. Playing it right after Donkey Kong 64 is nice. I'm happy that Tiny Kong and Kritter are playable.
