š£ New research alert! š£ "Introducing the READY Study: DHH Young peopleās Well-Being and Self-Determination" has just been published in the Journal of Deaf Studies and Deaf Education.
We provide evidence that self-determination and well-being are well connected. Because self-determination is a modifiable trait, we believe that we can intervene and promote it as a path to improve well-being of deaf young people.
This is a research study following over 500 young deaf people from a wide variety of backgrounds living in England, Scotland or Wales.

Back in June/July 2021, I was given the opportunity to be apart of a deaf study conducted by the University Of Manchester known as the āThe Ready Studyā. (@thereadystudy)Which is in partnership with @NDCS_UK
