Day 12.
Small green to big red
I held my loser too long on ES , tried to long the pivot , didn’t respect my SL and then tried to trade my way out of it
Gave back last Tuesdays gains because I did not follow my own rules
(mind you I’m supposed to be on vacation) 🙈

I did in fact take some more trades and I traded like shit
Still green but not happy with my choices today

Just a heads up .
I’m green on the day . I took the smallest MES trade overnight.
Not sure I will trade anymore today
Lots to do before my sons wedding this week
I’m going to do something that will make it impossible to go red on this futures account this month - transfer funds into other account
I’ll leave enough to still trade of course

The ability to see the market as I do now is an incredible gift. One I’ve had to work very hard to reach, and more so, the ability to execute and manage my own emotions was truly a path of self-discovery.
The path came with major setbacks, incredible losses, moments of self-doubt, and lots of sacrifice. The biggest sacrifice by far is the time put in—the idea that this time has afforded me the ability to do what I want, when I want. That’s what financial freedom is.
I’m still a work in progress, but wow, I sure have come a long way. Getting a little bit better than the man in the mirror each day has always been the goal.
Thanks for hanging out with me on this journey. FYI—you ain’t seen nothing yet.
