Quick trip to Osaka/Tokyo Family visiting Grandparents so i popped over to Japan 😏 No Rarity - Found about 20 No Rarities - 15 was from 1 shop alone - 80% were Raw - Priced like Ebay after grading fees - Saw no PSA 8 contenders, maybe 1 PSA 7 the rest look 5 and below. Ivy Pikachu and Glossy Jigglypuffs - Most shops that stocked vintage usually had a Pikachu. - Majority are raw and probably PSA 5 and below. - Saw a PSA 5 for 700,000 Yen (bad angle those aint white dots on the black its just dots on the glass i went back to the store to recheck) - Definately less Jigglypuff than Pikachus, some a raws cheaper than Ebay like $400 USD Jumbo Corocoros - Osaka saw 6-7 - Tokyo saw 2 - Smaller stalls usually are cheaper with bigger stores pricing above Ebay now. Corocoros (1997 ) - Still can find plenty, raw - MP majority - Nothing of interest for me TLDR No Rarity Ivy Pikachu/Jiggly stick to higher grades to preserve value due to the incoming returns from PSA. What is left raw will be lower grades. Jumbos are a lot less than I expected and majority are quite damaged. Pretty uneventful trip, ended up buying more on gold vintage jewellery for the wifey and spent peanuts on pokemon picked up just 3-4 raw Jumbos.
