Seems like KYC will be the future of AI 🤦
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

You're not bullish enough on @fairmint 🚀🔥 Every star is slowly but surely aligning ✨
the SEC just proposed rescinding Rule 611 of Reg NMS, the trade-through rule that has defined US equity market structure since 2005 this is a tradfi story, yes, but this is also one of the biggest unlocks yet for tokenized stocks 👇

Go Jerome! It is time for Ethereum to print less. The chain has progressed a lot since the merge, it's now much more efficient. It just makes sense to reflect it in the form of a better burn / issuance ratio. #PrintLess
$ETH Issuance Reduction Tour 2026, Today @ethconf NYC 🗽 Come and ask me about how Ethereum is going to print less and burn more 🌠

Who will be at @ethconf in NYC next week? I'll be around from Monday til Wednesday. If you're a builder building to push the space forward without caring about crypto prices, hit me up! PS: I have some spare tickets. If you are interested, let me know in the comments!

Ownership gated privacy makes sense
Take a break from failing crypto prices for a second to focus on builders building: @fairmint proposes a standard for "private NFTs" 🔐 The idea: Let NFT owners prove ownership (via SIWE) before accessing private metadata attached to an NFT. This enables things like gated content, documents, memberships, and other owner-only experiences. What it is: • Simple to implement • Compatible with existing NFT infrastructure What it isn't: • A fully decentralized solution for private data distribution The goal was practicality, not censorship resistance. Link and demo site below👇

Everyone says: hire people better than you, then get out of the way. One of my biggest mistakes at Algolia was taking that literally. Yes, hire people better than you. But don’t confuse seniority with earned trust. Stay close at first. Inspect the work. Pressure-test the judgment. If you’re still micromanaging after 3 months, you hired the wrong person. And trust your gut. As a founder, you are the most fine-tuned model in the world on your own company. If something feels off, it probably is, even when the exec says, “Trust me, I’ve done this for 20 years.”

Congress wants to extend wash-sale rules to crypto. Doing so would make everyday crypto use, DeFi, and multi-wallet tracking nearly unworkable. Summary of the issue in Tax Notes:

This is actually bullish for the stock market because it gives us another opportunity for the S&P 500 to hit fresh all time highs on hopes of a peace deal

DeFi spent a decade building rails to move assets. The next leg of onchain finance is about the assets themselves: making the legal record of ownership digitally native. At @fairmint, this is the layer we’ve been building, bringing equity onchain. I’ll be speaking at @ETHConf in NYC this June. DeFi built the rails. Now it needs the assets. ethconf.com/

"Most importantly:
If you see the message: “This request may require additional datacenter construction”, please stop immediately and contact IT." LOL
Replying to @Polymarket
Here’s the email to employees: Team, Hope everyone’s doing well and enjoying the productivity enhancements from our AI tooling initiative. Unfortunately, Finance has asked me to clarify a small issue. It appears someone, and by “someone” I mean apparently all of you simultaneously, managed to spend $500,000,000 on @claudeai usage in a single month. For context: •NASA landed on the moon for less. •We are now the proud owner of approximately 14% of Anthropic. •Claude personally sent us a thank-you fruit basket. •Our CFO has entered a fugue state and only communicates through Slack emojis. •The electricity usage from your prompts briefly dimmed parts of Northern Virginia. While we appreciate innovation, there are concerns that: •“Can you make this email sound slightly warmer?” did not require 11,400 generations. •Asking Claude to “rewrite this in the style of Succession, Hemingway, and Tony Soprano combined” may have been excessive. •One employee appears to have used Claude to generate “a quick list of lunch options” that somehow consumed the GDP of a small island nation. Going forward, please observe the following guidelines: 1Do not upload the entire internet into Claude “for context.” 2If your prompt begins with “simulate every possible outcome,” reconsider. 3Claude should not be used to: ◦settle fantasy football disputes, ◦write your wedding vows 97 times, ◦generate revenge edits of your ex’s LinkedIn bio, ◦or ask “what if Rome had WiFi?” Most importantly:
If you see the message: “This request may require additional datacenter construction” …please stop immediately and contact IT. Thank you all for your cooperation during this challenging yet technologically groundbreaking time. Warm regards,
Management P.S. Whoever prompted: “Generate every possible PR angle for every company founded since 1983” …we just want to talk.

disagree. the irony is smart contracts enable apps that are way more secure than whats possible without the problem is many projects produce low quality slop code, VCs/influencers pump, and users yolo in its not a defi problem, its just AIs good enough to sift through slop
PSA: I now consider *all* of DeFi unsafe. Coding agents are superhuman at finding vulnerabilities, and smart contract security is too asymmetric: defenders need to fix every bug while attackers need just one exploit to steal funds.
