Why does Levr have such better odds than sportsbooks?
Due to the nature of leverage, we’re able to almost completely remove the vig from all lines. A vig, short for vigorish, is the percent charged by the sportsbook for each bet accepted. This is why you’ll never see both sides of a bet available add up to 100%. Standard books typically charge between a 4% - 15% vig.
With Levr, we try to keep our vig anywhere from 0-5%. This allows users to get better odds than they would on a sportsbook. Something we’re able to do because we don’t depend on the vig to earn revenue as a standard book does.
So when you're shopping lines, make sure to check Levr first!
