I donāt use AI in my workflow. It just feels numb to me, like I didnāt actually make anything.
I started designing pretty young simply because I liked creating things. I enjoyed the process. I never thought it would turn into a career.
With all the hype around AI right now, it feels like people are missing the point of human creation. For a lot of us this isnāt just a job. Itās also a hobby, sometimes even a form of therapy.
AI mostly helps companies make more money and gain more power. They trained their models on work taken from everyone and call it technological progress.
And the amount of slop flooding every platform is ridiculous. The irony is that people defending it today might also lose their jobs if we donāt keep these companies in check. The recent news about OpenAi is a good example.
Digital revolution? To me it feels more like the devaluation of creativity and human-made work.

AI and digital art should not be lumped together

They said photography wasnāt art.
They said cinema wasnāt art.
They said video games werenāt art.
Now they say AI arts/digital art isnāt art.
Iāve spent over a decade with my studio team turning millions of data points into living, breathing artwork experiences ethically ā at MoMA, at the Guggenheim, at the Venice Biennale. Not because a machine told me what to create, but because I had a vision that no traditional tool could realize.
Denying all AI technologies as an artistic medium doesnāt protect art. It limits it. The artists who embrace new tools donāt replace the old masters ā they join them.
Art is not defined by the brush. Itās defined by the intention, the emotion, and the courage to see the world differently.
