ALT 6 March 2026 MIDDLE EAST TRAVEL ADVICE UPDATE The first government charter flight has taken off from Oman today, bringing British nationals back home, including many who are vulnerable. Further flights are planned in the coming days. British nationals in Oman will be contacted about these as they become available. Over 4,000 people have landed back in the UK from the region yesterday. More flights are expected today. FCDO Rapid Deployment Teams are in Oman and Saudi Arabia to assist British nationals on the ground.
