To clarify on the Starlink issue: the Ukrainians THOUGHT coverage was enabled all the way to Crimea, but it was not. They asked Musk to enable it for their drone sub attack on the Russian fleet. Musk did not enable it, because he thought, probably correctly, that would cause a major war.

The world lost an incredible person and internet pioneer this last week. Molly Holzschlag (@mholzschlag) was an early advocate for Web site design and accessibility standards.

Those standards made the Web easier to access, regardless of someone's browser, device, or disability.
I got to know Molly when I was a web developer and working for the W3C. Not only was she a brilliant and tireless advocate, she was kind, funny, and beloved.
