THE ALFRED ALE HOUSE Built in the 1860s, it has been part of the Burton bridge Brewery estate since 1996. Once owned by Truman, Hanbury & Buxton whose brewery sat opposite.The pub has a central bar which serves two large drinking areas and there is a small snug at the rear.

BEEROPOLIS A friendly laid-back independent Micropub located in a Grade II listed building on High Street offering something for everyone. The name Beeropolis was coined for Burton in Edwardian times. A lot of beer & brewing memorabilia from past and present decorates the walls.
