💯 Yes, the Christopher Bell crash at Michigan was terrible...
...but was it worse than Michael McDowell at Texas circa 2008? 🤔

April 4th, 2008, Qualifying for the Samsung 500. On lap 2 of the qualifying run going into turn 1, Michael McDowell would get loose, and overcorrect it. After overcorrecting, McDowell would hit the outside wall hard. Due to the impact of hitting the wall, it would cause McDowell to flip and barrel roll multiple times down the track, luckily he would land back on all 3 wheels. Dale Earnhardt Jr. would go on to win the pole for the race.
