My friend Flora purchased a 35$ commission from this person and was given a SINGULAR update on their commission. There was no communication on the artists end and whenever Flora would ask to see a WIP they would say that their status was DNI and to be patient & was rude to them.

Like art takes time yes, but if you set a date you should focus on getting it done.. ESPECIALLY when you were payed to.
Having an attitude towards someone paying you for art for voicing concern after a whole week PLUS of nothing is like genuinely crazy.
