June 13, 2026. Taunton defeated Attleboro 11-8 in the Division 1 MIAA Massachusetts State Championship Finals game. Taunton’s Victoria Corrao had a perfect game at bat as she reached base on all 4 plate appearances which included 3 hits (home run, triple, single) 1 walk, 1 RBI and scored 3 runs. Bella Bourque had 3 hits including powering for a home run, 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs. Ashlyn Hebert had 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Aniyah Bailey had 2 hits (double, single) 1 walk, 1 RBI and scored 2 runs. Mia Torres had 1 hit and 1 RBI. Jay Gagnon had 1 hit and 2 RBIs. Taunton relief pitcher Ella Parece shined with 6 solid innings allowing only 2 earned runs, 4 hits and struck out 5 batters to earn the championship finals win in the circle.

Aniyah Bailey made an outstanding catch behind the plate against the fence for a pop out. Jay Gagnon made a great turn around play in the outfield for an out. Ashlyn Hebert made a great play off a hard-hit bouncing grounder that was fielded and thrown to first for an out.
