And of course, I'll be talking about general painting/color mixing techniques that are applicable beyond thermochromic inks. Here are a few (non-thermochromic) paintings I've made!

Big news!! This year, ACM SIGCHI joins SIGGRAPH as an SCF co-sponsor. Thanks to SIGCHI co-sponsorship, for the first time ever, SCF will be using PCS for paper submissions. We are so excited to see the SCF community grow with researchers from diverse fields 🌱

I really should make a longer thread about FabObscura once I get around to it...until then, here's a GIF of a parallax-based animation that we made with the system! (s/o to Rufus Butler Seder for sharing the animation with me)

Thank yous @MIT_CSAIL for the lovely article!! I had a lot of fun working on this paper and I’m so excited to present it at @ACMUIST this year :))

Barrier-grid animations are a clever way to create a moving picture that doesn’t actually move — w/o electronics. MIT's "FabObscura" software helps you produce bolder designs for these displays, which can be attached to objects in homes, stores, & more: shorturl.at/M4Jl3
