I just completed “Stake,” a short AI-driven gothic horror scene following a stranger’s descent into an ancient crypt. Created as a filmmaking assignment focused on cinematic atmosphere, tension, camera movement, and visual continuity. Experimenting with AI-driven worldbuilding using a node-based workflow in @Magnific_AI. Starting with a basic concept, then generating rules, materials, culture, characters, environments, and visual language. Concept Input: “A savage, desolate planet living in the dark ages. Robot barbarians have risen to take over the world. No humans — only idealized male and female robot warriors carrying swords. They survive among the war-torn remains of an apocalypse. The robot armor is white with bold blue and black stripes.” #AI #AIArt #GenerativeAI #AIFilmmaking #DigitalArt

This was the shot where everything changed. In the beats leading up, we gradually brought Yoda upright, so when the saber comes out, he’s no longer frail, but centered, grounded, ready to unleash. The goal was to lead the audience into a version of Yoda they hadn’t seen, without announcing it. By the time he ignites, the transformation is already complete. #MayThe4th #Animation #StarWars #Yoda

I just completed "Lockdown", a short AI-driven scene exploring a moment of tension with a touch of action, focused on performance, pacing, and visual continuity. Watch to the end for BTS (sound on). #AIFilmmaking #CuriousRefuge #Previs #Storyboarding #FilmmakingProcess

Thank you, @ArfKeldo , for the shoutout in Light & Magic season 2, highlighting Yoda’s lightsaber moment from Attack of the Clones. CG was new, risky, and truly magical back then. Grateful to have been part of that era. If you haven’t seen it, give it a watch. #LightAndMagic

Love this film.
RT or like if Bluth’s masterpiece, “The Secret of NIMH” rocked your world and changed what you thought animation could be.

In addition to leading the senate battle, I got to animate the “Yoda in peril” shots at the end of the sequence. What an amazing opportunity working with George Lucas, @arfkeldo and all the talented people at @ILMVFX. Highlight of my career. #RevengeOfTheSith

I animated this one. The original version was longer with both characters leaping into the scene, the edit changed so they needed to start closer to the podium. This shot marks the beginning of the Senate Battle.

Some animation development I did for Hulk 2003. This was a test to see if video reference would work for getting realistic facial performance. Animation is based on footage of an animator who worked at ILM at the time. #hulk #VFX #Animation

I animated the shots when Yoda takes out the clone troopers. It was fun to show a successful Yoda attack after working on the Dooku battle. I was channelling Clint Eastwood with the eyes.

A shot I animated a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Happy 20th anniversary to Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. #MayTheFourthBeWithYou

Some Dr. Strange animation I did in 2016. There was a last minute edit change so he needed to start seated, then stand up. I was given a week to finish it. No time for mocap. I spent half the week panicking then put it together at the last minute. #DrStrange #VFX #Animation

Some early Splinter animation I did for TMNT development (back in 2012). I think I was too subtle with the ear animation. #Splinter #VFX #Animation

Probably the most iconic shot of my career. James Tooley simmed the robe getting pulled to the side. The camera was static and wider in the first version. George told us to punch in and add the camera move. He instantly saw the potential. Grateful to be a part of it.

Run of Hulk shots I animated for Age of Ultron - 2015. (With and without reference). It was late in the schedule, with no time to shoot additional mocap. So I busted out the iPhone. #Avengers #Hulk #VFX #Animation

Casper Pepsi Commercial - 1995. One of the first things I worked on after graduating from Ringling. It was made after Casper shooting wrapped, so the interiors had to be recreated as miniature sets. Amazing work by ILM’s model shop. Directed by Steve Beck. #Casper #Animation #VFX
