As you all know, sustainability is an important topic to
@NewLandMKE and the newly launched
@timberpartners, which will focus on
#masstimber development.
We’ve been working on the next step in sustainable development for months now. If we really want to source sustainably, we have to take the humans out of it. No people, no impact. But how can we do this?
We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking initiative that promises to redefine urban development and eco-conscious building practices.
Timber Partners will bring on a team of twelve local beavers to sustainably harvest wood, without the use of machinery that contributes to the carbon footprint. There’s an undeniable synergy between beavers and large wood members.
Timber Partners is committed to harnessing their expertise in sustainable forestry to drive forward a new era of environmentally friendly architecture. This innovative approach not only underscores the company's dedication to sustainability but also marks a significant step towards fostering harmony between urban development and natural ecosystems.
We are not just making the world more sustainable; we are also creating jobs. The beavers will, of course, be treated humanely, and will have the opportunity to enroll in the company’s 401k, health benefits, parental leave (2 weeks), and most importantly, dental benefits. They will not, however, be eligible for PTO.
