Hey @MiroHQ Can we bring back the old Invision movies? Like "InVision presents “THE LOOP,” the story of IBM’s transformation through design thinking." Really would love to show this to some students. Original URL was this: invisionapp.com/enterprise/i…

You can argue about details, but I find it hard to argue the big picture of this.

Only 26% of leaders have the skills to create psychological safety for their teams (research by McKinsey). It's tricky for leaders. Often we want the best of both worlds: all voices heard & failure acknowledged/learned from. But leaders also want harmony, comfort & a sense of equilibrium. So many leaders end up creating a false "performative" version of psychological safety. Strategies for creating an environment that welcomes dissenting voices & makes them safe: hbr.org/2023/12/how-leaders-… By @RonCarucci

Zoom fatigue is not burnout. It’s boreout. New study: when meetings are virtual, we’re not overwhelmed—we’re understimulated. Cardiac measures show drowsiness, not stress. The antidotes are common sense but not common practice: fewer, shorter, more interactive online meetings.

Using GPTs more and feeling this. How much of your capacity to act in the world are you handing over for the sake of a) leverage and b) convenience? Autonomy is super important, but we’ll get very used to AIs mainstreamed thinking over time. Centralization of knowledge, for all.?
I’m on a mission to get you to read more fiction. Here are 10 of my favorite ideas – all from fiction: 1. Frank Herbert, Dune

Map, canvas, notes… this ground rule of dialogue is a true classic: bring something to talk about. #design
Remove tension on difficult conversations is key, and the #wardleymaps help on it. Conversations that enrich the understanding of the landscape without being politized are much necessary than you can think. Challenge the map, not the person.

Ouch indeed.
dX: Did you finish your mapping sessions on where to invest in sustainability? Me: Yes. dX: Conclusion? Me: It depends. Is your investment aimed at fixing the problem or making more money?

I want many things.
The truth you don't want to hear: You don't want it enough. Cant wake up? write that email? film that video? Start that biz? Build that site? Don't believe me? Let's do a simple exercise... Who do you love most? Who is the most important person to you in the world? Think of them. Put them in your mind. Now imagine they have a gun to their head, and THE ONLY WAY that you can save them... Is if you do the task that you have been putting off... Would you do it? I bet you would. You would drop EVERYTHING and do it. This is because you WANT TO BADLY ENOUGH. You have to want to do things to get them done. So stop lying to yourself and saying you don't have time, or it's too hard. Just admit that you don't want it enough, and give up Or Realize that it's really that simple. Nothing is stopping you. Luckily, there isn't a gun to your loved ones head. But there is a gun to your head. And that gun is time. I may not kill you quickly...but it will kill you. You will run out of it. So the decision is yours. Keep putting things off, or get them done. I personally, plan on getting them done.
