A brief update regarding our recent choice made to switch our MongoDB cluster to the US region, which was approved by the MongoDB team.
The initial cluster proposed for our migration experienced a failure approximately 6 hours after acceptance. MongoDB has since informed us that they will proceed with an alternative cluster that has proven reliable for their high-priority clients. However, due to current operational priorities, government-related migrations are being processed first.
As a result, our region switch has been temporarily delayed. The MongoDB team has assured us that they will complete the process as soon as the government related migrations are complete, which they estimate will take a few additional hours. We continue to exercise patience & goodwill for the community as the dev team is on standby to reconnect the system as soon as we are green lighted
