After a couple of weeks of using OI and zappi, I can say that it works *really* well!
No faffing about - a few seconds after plugging the car in, the Octopus app pings with the charging schedule.
Great work @OctopusEnergy and @myenergiuk !

@myenergiuk Zappi is now working with @OctopusEnergy intelligent tariff. Just tell the octopus app how much charge I need and by when and it gets done - and at 7.5p /kWh!
@g__j just need this to work with the @tepeoheat ZEB!

Even have it all working with Node Red and the Octopus API so I can see the charging schedule, and can monitor my power and cost! Amazing!

We've joined @OVOEnergy @EnergySvgTrust @CitizensAdvice @UKPowerNetworks @thermal_storage and more calling on UK Government to grant smart, low carbon products like the ZEB a reduced rate of VAT.
Policy change is essential to make low carbon technology accessible to everyone.

More @tepeoheat ZEB stats
Looking back over old Gas data - w/c 8 Feb 2021 (it was around 0C during the day) I was using over 100 kWh of gas every day for a week.
Yesterday ZEB peaked @ 73.5 kWh.
Rest of the week has been 30-40 kWh.
Not conclusive, but ZEB seems more efficient!

It's early days, but it looks like our fab @tepeoheat ZEB and @myenergiuk eddi are using less energy from @OctopusEnergy to heat our home and hot water than the old gas boiler.
TE2022 bar is the combined energy used for the ZEB and eddi, other bars are Gas usage.

Landmark day!
Our Gas meter has been disconnected and the house is running purely on electric!
Thank you @tepeoheat ZEB is FAB, and @OctopusEnergy for such quick service disconnecting the meter and being such a Fab company. @g__j you are doing a marvelous job!
