In honour of @petshopboys announcing a gig in Blackpool, it was great of Chris to resurrect his Les Dawson impression at the end of Being Boring last night! A skilled pianist, renowned for his quick wit, acerbic put-downs and status as a Lancashire legend… and same goes for Les!

Night four @petshopboys @rbo_org Fourth & final night for me. Gutted to be missing Saturday’s grand finale. However, the past 4 nights have been truly incredible. My Dreamworld journey has come to an end, but ‘the music plays forever.’ Thanks, Neil & Chris. For everything.

Just arrived in London for four nights at the Royal Opera House with these legends. Worked out that tonight’s performance will be the 30th time I’ll have seen PSB in concert since 1999. Amazing memories, with more to come! @petshopboys @cheekypete

What struck me was the DEPTH of the album. Warm low end bass with lush string arrangements and Neil’s voice floating on top like a particularly nice cherry on a well-baked cake. @jamesellisford has done them justice. Can’t wait for Friday to hear the songs again!

As for the interview, it was great to see/hear Neil and Chris speaking in-person. Alexis Petridis did a great job and both N&C were on fine form: Neil with the well-considered answers, and Chris with the “bantz” - as the youth would say. Thanks, chaps. It was a cracking night!

Early start this morning for a trip from Oban to Mull (the third island we’ve been on in 24 hours). Left under a hazy sunrise and arrived to blue skies and Golden Eagles - majestic! Headed up to Tobermory (familiar to many as ‘Balamory’) where we ticked off another distillery.
