5 quick tips for posture and setting when reading 📖👇🏼
1️⃣ Sit straight and not slumped over. Bad posture compresses your diaphragm, which makes you tired. 🥱
2️⃣ Don’t put the book flat on the table. Ideally, hold it at a 90-degree angle to your eyes. That makes it easier to read and your eyes won’t get tired. 👀
3️⃣ If possible hold the book at eye level, so you don’t have to look down the entire time, which might cause neck pain. 💥
4️⃣ Have good lighting. Daylight is the best, but other lights are good too. Just make sure they’re bright enough so you’re not damaging your eyes. ☀️
5️⃣ If you read for learning or personal growth, don’t read in bed or lying on your couch. It puts you in a relaxed state, but you want to be somewhat energetic. Instead, sit at a desk or try standing or walking. 🚶🏻♂️
