Let’s be honest, we’re all going to miss this.
The 4-piece Shattered Throne bonus has amazing flavour: it gives you a buff called "Truth" that stacks up, and switches to "Power" when you reach 999x stacks. Unfortunately, it's bugged and makes you TAKE DOUBLE DAMAGE when it's equipped, even with zero stacks. @Destiny2Team

Don’t wanna hear any bullshit about them being the fun police. This is obviously the correct call.
Hey all, Over the last few days we've been seeing some incredible videos where Guardians could down Raid bosses (well, any bosses) when combining Howl of the Storm (Titan Aspect) with a few well-placed shots from a Hunter's Golden Gun. With Monument of Triumph launching tomorrow, we'll be disabling Howl of the Storm. Even if we're not shipping a new Raid, MoT invites you to visit a large slate of endgame content, the new Pantheon lineup, and even Gambit! We generally want to avoid disabling abilities or weapons, especially for days like tomorrow, but we want to ensure your experiences aren't trivialized by the bug. We'll get this fixed up as soon as possible. If anything comes up during testing or validation leading to a delay, or we're able to move the fix up to an earlier release date, we'll let you know.

D2 art team never missed (aside from my issues with hunter cloak design). When playing with @austinwoodmedia and @Billdo68 we would often ponder how elite the skybox team are. Best to ever do it.
To the Destiny 2 community, Thank you. As artists, our goal has always been to create worlds filled with wonder, mystery, beauty, and adventure. But what brings those worlds to life is you. You take our designs, our napkin sketches, our "wouldn't it be cool if..." ideas and transform them into something real. Your creativity, your passion, and your love for the game give our work purpose. We've always believed Destiny could be a place where expression is celebrated, where players can see themselves and each other in the worlds we build, where every Guardian can forge their own legend—and you proved it. Watching your Guardians grow, embrace new allies, take down bigger and badder bosses, solve mind-bending puzzles, dodge death traps, avoid Taken boopers, and overcome every Raid challenge we throw at you—all while looking incredible—has been a constant reminder of why this universe matters. You shaped it. You made it matter. You are the light of Destiny. With Monument of Triumph, we set out to create a series of love letters to Guardians, new and old. We shared a preview last week of armor inspired by early designs from the original Destiny but have also sprinkled some winks and nods throughout the rewards releasing tomorrow. We hope they feel like a small thank you for everything you’ve given us. From all of us on the Destiny 2 art team, thank you for supporting us, inspiring us, and continuing to bring this world to life in ways we could never have imagined. You give our art meaning. With gratitude, The Destiny 2 Art Team

This is the Knicks hidden advantage. Parks in walkable cities to Wemby are the equivalent of strip clubs to Harden. Surprised he hasn’t missed a game playing chess in Union Square
The Spurs might be down 2-0 but that isn’t stopping Wemby from getting in some drawing time in Gramercy Park

The real shame is that it’s that vocal cohort of players who are going to cut the game they purport to love’s throat. There’s a reason Bungie effectively stopped investing resources in PvP.

Put aside the self-defeating marathon vs destiny stuff for a moment, and you’re still left with the substantial problem that the last 10 years have shown no sign of Bungie being able to balance a PvP experience in a way that will keep the kind of players its games attract happy.
We have identified some issues affecting the progression systems and loot economy and will be rolling out a few fixes: Cert containers: Fixing an issue causing more Cert containers to spawn than intended in Night Marsh. Cradle: Given the increased quality and quantity of loot, we've increased progression costs by 25%. We are also still tracking down more issues and will be adjusting loot drops globally while we investigate. We want loot to feel rewarding, but also not flood the economy with too many powerful items early in the season. We'll continue to monitor these systems and feedback closely throughout the season.

You could honestly have saved D2 (long enough to build D3) just by putting all the money spent on Concord into it. This is a generational fumble.
Build your Monument of Triumph. Play new and updated content including Pantheon, Sparrow Racing League, Distortions, and new Triumph pursuits celebrating your Guardian’s journey across Destiny 2. New challenges, abilities, and rewards arrive for all Guardians on June 9, 2026. ⚪ bung.ie/destiny

Very sad to hear about the passing of John Blanche, an incredible artist, and the seminal influence on the look and feel of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. He leaves behind an absolutely iconic body of work. This is a print I've had my office for a while. RIP. #blanchitsuforever

I’m not joking btw. Of all the things monetised in the history of the game, this is the one I’d have been completely chill with paying for. Mad that it was never an option.

All the braindead tourist takes about the end of Destiny 2 are gonna put me in an early grave. Yeah, it didn't end because of poor management, questionable franchise decisions, lack of significant updates etc. It ended because they made a trans pin & a rainbow shader, bro staple ur whole mouth shut fr
