Ask yourself why all the most egregious details of the ICE debacle in Georgia are coming from foreign media outlets? It’s beyond clear that the media is under covering certain stories to avoid the ire of the Trump administration. This has been clear for some time.
You have to rely on foreign journalists to report on the conditions Korean migrants (who were here legally working on a project our government was partially funding!) were subjected to before leaving the U.S. b/c our media does nothing but polish Trump's knob.

You really see right now how liberalism is over. Schumer about to pass the Trump budget. Klein painting a Nazi as a great man. Abundance bros teaming up with fascists. They gave up. They want in with the Trump coalition. Dems a totally irrelevant party. Walking dead.

Iceland is the world’s biggest consumer of SSRIs. They’ve had less than 10 gun homicides since 2020; in the US, there have been over 90,000. Japan is one of the largest video game markets in the world. They have 10 gun deaths per year; the US has nearly 50,000. It’s the guns.

RFK JR on Mass Shootings: There are many things that happened in the 1990’s that could explain these. One is the dependence on psychiatric drugs… there could be connections with video games
Community note
RFK Jr presents a disproven theory for mass shooters; Video games have been proven time & time again to not influence violent behavior. This claim has been around for almost 40 years & has been repeatedly disproven. ox.ac.uk/news/2019-02-1… theguardian.com/games/2020/jul… royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/rs…

This Party's leadership is not actually this dumb. It knows its own voters oppose Israel's genocide. They are willfully out of step with their own voters because they'd rather be bought & paid for by AIPAC than stand up to them. It's not stupidity, it's corruption.
Kirsten Gillibrand (who's in charge of electing more Senate Democrats) insists "9 out of 10 Democrats are pro-Israel." 8% of Democrats support Israel's war on Gaza. 75% oppose sending more military aid to Israel. 63% think the US supports Israel too much.

One of the incidents that gave rise to this case involved a person who was roughed up by the ICE agents before he was able to show his REAL ID, which, once he gave to the agents, they then confiscated and didn't give back to him.

Kavanaugh actually wrote this line: "If the officers learn that the individual they stopped is a U. S. citizen or otherwise lawfully in the United States, they promptly let the individual go."

Democrats seem to have made their decision: they want a (probably short-term) extension of ACA subsidies in exchange for passing a budget bill. In other words, something Republicans need in exchange for something Republicans want. From me: prospect.org/politics/2025-0…

It would be interesting to see what Trump's presidency would be like if the USA had an opposition party.
Even outside of X, the two top Democrats haven't said *anything* about our military buildup off the coast of Venezuela as far as I can tell x.com/kenklippenstein/status…

This was very clear once the deportations started, yet Schumer and Jeffries have discouraged congressional Dems making a stink about the issue.
The intensity of disapproval on deportation is notable — more “strong disapproval” than on any other issue in this poll. He’s at -14 overall.

"Where do centrists find our Mamdani?" You had your Mamdani. His name was Barack Obama. He had once-in-a-generation charisma. And because centrism is a bankrupt, useless ideology, he was a terrible president. You had your chance, sorry!

I've said this before but I really am seething with jealousy that the socialists got a guy like this generational politician charisma-wise. simply the best face American leftists have found for their policy goals in living memory where do centrists find our Mamdani?

If Cuomo had won the primary, by one vote or a hundred thousand, Jeffries and Schumer would’ve endorsed him immediately and the media would be hailing him the new face of the party and screaming how the party needs to move even further right. Don’t even try to pretend otherwise.

Why didn’t we just track and interdict the vessel in US waters, arrest the crew and seize the drugs, as the US Coast Guard routinely does?
As @potus just announced moments ago, today the U.S. military conducted a lethal strike in the southern Carribean against a drug vessel which had departed from Venezuela and was being operated by a designated narco-terrorist organization.

Today’s news confirms it: Cuomo is Trump’s choice for Mayor. The White House is considering jobs for Adams and Sliwa to clear the field. New Yorkers are sick of corrupt politics and backroom deals. No matter who’s running, we will deliver a better future on November 4.
Breaking News: President Trump's advisers are said to have discussed giving Mayor Eric Adams a position in the administration as a way to clear the field in November’s mayoral election and damage the chances of the Democratic front-runner, Zohran Mamdani. nyti.ms/47sVF1S

DC’s cleaning crews cover around 81 miles/day for around $150K/day. National Guard has cleaned a total of 3.2 miles and costs more than $1M/day. It’s about 170X more cost efficient per mile to fund DC’s existing work.
National Guard issues update on its deployment in Washington DC Including… : “Guardsmen have cleaned more than 3.2 miles of roadways, collected more than 500 bags of trash, and disposed of three truckloads of plant waste”

A simple reason RFK Jr doesn’t understand that nutrition and lifestyle medicine are already a huge part of a modern medical school education is he didn’t f****** go to medical school and isn’t a f****** doctor. Hope this helps.
I’m leading a team at @HHSGov, along with @EDSecMcMahon, targeting the woeful lack of nutrition education in medicine. We can reverse the chronic disease epidemic simply by changing our diets and lifestyles, but to do that, we need nutrition to be a basic part of every doctor’s training.

call me crazy but I don’t think there should be “agricultural billionaires” who control “a large chunk of California’s water”
Lynda and Stewart Resnick, the agricultural billionaires known for privately controlling a large chunk of California's water, are selling an Aspen property for $300 million. If it sells for anything close to that, it will set a record for the most expensive house in the country.
