Australian musicians are banding together to help raise funds for flood ravaged communities in NSW and Queensland - in a new initiative called Flood Aid.
Jono Ma is one of the artists and he spoke to us on the show.

the bandcamp frustration is towards a pattern of consolidated ownership and financialization- especially when bandcamp would have been the perfect case study for exit to community.
last year, i talked to joe from bandcamp and encouraged an exit to community. he liked the idea!

Chinese tech behemoth Tencent has a 40% stake in new Bandcamp owner Epic Games (as well as big chunks of Universal, Warner, and Spotify), which means, among other things, that @cheriehu42 will need to update this chart...
