When people like you ask "did Peter Obi build any industry in Anambra State as governor?" I get really disappointed. Where in a capitalist democracy does the government build and run industries? The job of the government is to provide a conducive and enabling environment for industrialisation, which the Peter Obi administration did well. The Obi government partnered with Nigeria’s first indigenous auto manufacturing company in Nnewi by creating a supportive environment and placing bulk cash orders for hundreds of vehicles for government and security use. His government rehabilitated and upgraded the Harbour Industrial Layout (industrial estate) in Onitsha, providing road dualization, improved drainage, and power substations to accommodate expanding manufacturing enterprises. His administration facilitated the entry and construction of the multimillion-dollar International Breweries PLC (formerly SABMiller) in Onitsha, providing tax incentives and infrastructure to establish it as one of the largest brewing plants in the region. It seems you can't campaign for your unmarketable candidate without speaking against Peter Obi. Maybe there's nothing meaningful to say about your candidate, except that "he's from the north and can challenge a candidate from the south"
