WELL YES! and it's a tradition there isn't a single day that sanemi doesn't bring giyuu breakfast (except of like when he's sick), he also always wants to make giyuu breakfast made with fresh ingredients so he runs to the market every morning to buy groceries

HELLO REMM sanemi waking up at ass o'clock in the morning and he wants to get up and do his usual morning routine (work out,shower, brush his teeth, go the market to get breakfast) but giyuu holds onto him like a koala and when sanemi tries to gently push him away giyuu grumbles

the moment i read childhood friends sngy i immediately knew it's you marie 😭😭😭😭 sanemi not knowing that tsutako died and he sees giyuu happy (sabito helped him get through everything) and all he feels is bitterness and anger that he had to go through this while giyuu didn't

and giyuu is really hurt and confused but eventually they fight and sanemi says i expected u to be there for me and giyuu says i was dealing with tsutako's death too! and this is when sanemi stops and realizes that holy shit giyuu's life isn't sunshine and rainbow as i thought

they become on good terms but don't really get close until after the war they fall in love and get married and during their small secret wedding giyuu says looks like we both fulfilled our promise to get married after all and then they live happily ever aftee cause i said so
