But here’s the wild truth: with today’s AI creative tools, a single person can now do nearly all of this — storyboards, shots, edits, music, lighting, even CG characters — solo.
The game has changed. The tools are the new team.

It means so much to me that people are finally standing up to puritans and payment processors.
For so long it looked as if both sides were on board with censorship, the left with censoring “problematic” content and the right with “degeneracy”, now it seems the winds are turning!

The DoD's latest budget request foresees replacing the E-3 Sentry with... uh, E-2D Hawkeyes. The Air Force's E-7 procurement is officially on ice.
Naval turboprop AWACS is apparently now the future of the USAF airborne C2 system.

E-2D is a naval plane. It makes a lot of sacrifices to be able to fit into a carrier hangar and launch from a catapult.
AIRFORCE PLANES DERIVE NO BENEFIT FROM THESE SACRIFICES.

It is a harsh commentary on 2025 era USN Flag rank leaders that a refitted 1943 "standard" battleship is better protected against the Houthi drone swarm threat than a Nimitz class carrier escorted by a pair of Burke class DDG because Standard missiles & AMRAAM are too expensive.

all of the original SAMs of the US navy grew out of Operation Bumblebee, a WW2 program to produce a guided missile so that shooting down kamikazes wasn't "hope you can get a shot on target in the incredibly limited engagement window afforded by guns"

I file "literary critics and academics" in the same category as "movie critics" - if they hate it, it's probably awesome, if they like it, approach it with caution.
Honestly, it's for much the same reason - they're a bunch of insulated, insular, self-referential blowhards who never worked a single honest job between their collective existences.

This is completely countered by the vast number of literary critics and academics who adore Gatsby and credit it as one of the greatest novels ever written. So, again, YOU don’t think it contributes, but lots and lots of far more accomplished people do.

If there's one thing this conflict has shown us all, it's that western equipments were never superior to Russian technology.
The T-90M is currently the best tank in the world, out performing the German Leopard and the American Abrams tank in all categories.
Community note
Claiming T90M outperforms western MBTs "in all categories" is outright lie. While T90M might compare favorably in some areas - e.g. it's lighter than M1 - in many areas, incl. in terms of sensors or protection, it measurably lags behind modern versions of western MBTs
