My mother suffers from severe degenerative joint disease affecting multiple joints. During her recent doctor's appointment, she was advised to undergo an MRI as soon as possible, as she will most likely need knee surgery. Unfortunately, the earliest date available for a publicly funded MRI is not until November, but she needs to act quickly because she is in pain every day. This month has been especially difficult for us financially. My mother is currently unable to work due to her recovery from hip surgery, and our cat is also undergoing medical treatment, for which I have had to raise money as well. I am truly grateful for all the help and support we have received so far. I feel embarrassed asking for help and sometimes feel like I am begging, but I want to be honest that we genuinely need support right now. Any help, no matter how small, would mean a great deal to us. Thank you for your kindness and understanding. I can provide documentation and other evidence confirming my mother's diagnosis and the need for the recommended treatment.
