Since cash only has value for interhuman transactions (AIs deal in compute), human only tasks become valuable. AI tasks fall to cost of electrons and atoms. => 100% human only jobs => AI tasks are environmental, you just don’t do them anymore, often offered for free or ad supported For the intelligence to be truly AGI, it must seek and respond to fulfill human demand continuously. Continuously attack the remaining 20% human only jobs, figure out how to do them, and offer up new products and services before new human only jobs can be created. AI that just fulfills the current stock of tasks is not AGI.. it’s just a calculator. This is directly parallel with the science AGI definition as an AI that discovers new physics. An economic definition of AGI is a AI that discovers market needs and creates products to fulfill them that can achieve product market fit. Any businessperson reading this is currently feeling the chills.
